I love DC.

Seriously. It is probably one of my most favorite places to go. I wouldn't live there, but I love spending time there. Especially in the Spring when the cherry blossoms are out.

Beautiful.

We spent the day wandering around DC (#62 - play tourist in DC). Margot had to go to training in Chicago for 3 weeks. She made new friends and they came to visit so we went to see DC.

The whole gang. Minus Aziz because he's taking the picture.
(L-R) Jin, Me, Mel, Margot, Dhandel.

Since it was peak cherry blossom time we headed downtown to see them.

I've seen a lot of things in DC, but this was a first. We also got to see a LOT of people doing yoga on the Mall. Seriously. I have never seen this before in my life and I've lived here forever. We stood and watched this for a good few minutes. It was pretty cool but I don't think I'd ever be brave enough to do this.

Love the way the Jefferson looks when the blossoms are in the picture.

After spending some time by the Tidal Basin we headed towards some monuments. We stopped by WWII. I love this one. It's so pretty.

Washington Monument. You can't miss it.

And of course we stopped by the White House. No Obama though.

The Old Post Office. This one's for Nana <3>
