Apple Blossom: Festival and Parade

Friday morning Steve and the guys went to the Stag Luncheon so Lauryn and I hung out at the house and painted our nails in festival colors (pink and green, you know you're jealous).


After the luncheon was over we met the guys downtown for the street festival and the firemans parade.



There were more games and fair food than anything else at the street festival. I was hoping there would be more shopping, but even the stores on the mall were mostly closed.


After we walked around the festival we headed down to the firehouse to see some old family friends and then to hang out for the parade.

We got to have a tour of the fire house which was SO cool because I'd never seen the inside of a firehouse before. We couldn't ride down the fire pole but we definitely did ask ;)

One the parade started Lauryn and I headed outside to watch it. We didn't get to watch the entire thing because we had a concert to get to but it was a really good parade none the less!





We had lots of fun Friday afternoon walking around downtown, catching the parade, and hanging out with some old friends. I'm so glad I took the day off for this :)
