101 List: May catch up

I didn't really get a lot accomplished for my 101 list in May. It isn't that I'm losing interest in it, it's just that I think my life is going in a different direction. I can already see there will be things on this list I won't accomplish and at the beginning of this list that would have been a big problem for me. But now I'm ok with that. I'm ok with the fact that I'm learning a lot about myself, my life, and what I want. And being able to not be the super perfectionist that I've always been because I thought that was what everyone wanted or needed me to be is ok. I'm not perfect. But neither is anyone else so it's ok.

#82 - Clean Out Car
I have seriously been slacking when it comes to cleaning out my car. My car was never super dirty when I started this list, but spending 8 hours on the road every week has really taken a toll on the cleanliness of my car. As in, it is going seriously down hill. So I finally took advantage of the nice weather we have been having and cleaned the hell out of my car. It looked great. There was so much trash. I even found socks. Steve's socks. From our trip to Georgia. From last summer. LAST SUMMER. I wasn't lying when I said I had been slacking. But all that crap is gone now and all I have to worry about is keeping the trash under control.

#1 - Go on a date with my husband
Another area of slackerdom in my life. Dates with my husband. I mean we have had at least one date every month over the last few months... but really, they've been for something specific and not just because. Well, in May we changed our tune. We went out just because. And I really want to do more of that. Make more time for us. He's super busy & getting busier with baseball. And honestly, baseball season makes me feel 2nd. Which I know he doesn't mean to make me feel like, but it happens. We went out to dinner at Main Street Wings because we'd had the opportunity to sample their (boneless) wings at the Apple Blossom Festival and we were sold on their deliciousness. We headed up there one night for dinner and it was really nice just to get out of the house and have a nice dinner with my husband.

#35 - Make a Meal
I'm going to give you one guess at what ethnicity my meal for May was. If you guessed Mexican you've been here a while. I made a Chimichuri Burrito Casserole and it was amazing. I had found a seasoning package at the store and decided to give it a go. I'm so glad I did because it was definitely a yummy, super easy meal. I used more cheese than I probably needed to but I loooooove cheesy Mexican food so it was the perfect amount for me. Well, until Steve was looking for our shredded cheese a few days later and I'd used what we had left lol. But seriously. Look at this cheesy goodness and tell me I did something wrong haha.

That's it for May. I told you I wasn't all that 101 focused. But part of that is because all of a sudden it was June and I was like what the hell happened to May because I blinked and it was over. And if I'm not paying attention June will be gone too.
