Boba Air Carrier

I usually don't do these types of blog posts but we've been debating on a carrier for Baby Sydney and The Art of Making a Baby has this awesome giveaway so this is counting as an entry for me. We have no idea if she'll even like being in a carrier, but we're going for it anyway.

I recently found a coupon code for a free sling from Seven Slings and I'm pretty excited about that, but like I said.... Steve is not so excited about that. Plus, it could just be a little too girlie looking for him. And a lady I work with got us a super cute Petunia Pickle Bottom sling...but again, too girlie for Steve so he's not so excited about that. He REALLY wants to get a carrier - so we've been looking and looking. And they're kind of expensive especially when you have no idea what will work for you and your baby.

For the last couple months I've been following The Art of Making a Baby and she has this really awesome giveaway for a Boba Air. According to her, it's lightweight (.7lbs) which makes it convenient for a quick trip or a hot day. And I will very likely not want to wear a heavy carrier plus a baby next summer! I hate being too hot so this could be quite perfect for us.

It also comes with and is easily stored in a very handy little bag so it would be perfect for keeping in the car or stuffing in your stroller as an extra method of carrying baby like they did on their trip to Disney.

I did some researching on their website - like any good parent would do right?! And I love that you can use this as a front or back carrier. I think we will want/need one with that option (do they all have that option? I have no idea.... clearly I need to do some more research!).

It's made for children 15-45lbs so it would be a few months before we could put it to some use, but I do like the fact that it will hold a heavier child so we could get quite a bit of use out of it.

And it isn't all that bad on the budget... priced at only $65 it is less than any of the other carriers we've been thinking about.

So there you have it. I'm blogging this simply to try to win this giveaway because that would be awesome, but after looking in to it I think we would seriously consider this or another one of the Boba carriers.
